I went to Colton and nonna in the back yard by playground and said goodbye.  He says, where you going? I said on a date with Momma! Colton says, oh I'm sorry about that!

What is that hole?

At the lakehouse a hole appeared in the ground.  Mimi and Daddy asked Colton what the hole was for... 

"Its a Dirt Hog hole!"  Ha ha ha... its was a chipmunk hole.

Couple days later, a chipmunk went into the hole and Colton asked Mimi, "what is that chipmunk going into that dirt hog hole?"

Crib sleep

Gooey slept in his crib from 10:45-5:15.  It was a first.  He was up at 1ish and 3ish, but after a quick feed, he went back to bed in his crib.  Hopefully better nights ahead!!

Standing up

Gooey can now really crawl, and can pull up to standing at the couch, Colton's toddler chairs, the coffe table at the lake house...  Oh, yeah!  Watch out!  He says mama a lot, and has said the following sounds:  da, ba, ga.  Later today we hope to go to the fair!

Mama

Today when my Gooey boy woke up he looked right at me and said Mama clear as day.  Did he have a clue what he was saying?  I am going to pretend that he did.  :)

He said mama another time today and even said dada tonight while at the lake house.  :)

Rhyme time

Colton was rhyming in a list... Cat, bat, mat, hat.  Then Sisi said, what rhymes with house?  Colton thought about it, so sisi added it's a little animal, and she made a little rodent face.  Still no answer.  So she said it starts with m.  And colton said muh-piglet?  Hahaha.

Springdale Farms

We had a great day today celebrating Colton's five dry pull ups in a row with an adventure to Springdale Farms with the whole family and Sisi!  We went on the automatic milking tour!  Those cows produce an average of over 77 pounds of milk a DAY!!!  That is a LOT!!

Colton: smushes up face then giggles and smiles
Me: asked again, then tried leading him by saying it's (facebook) on the... (computer)

While Colton and I picked berries, Gooey hung out swinging in the shade...  Face plant nap is the new IT thing.

Berry picking!

Colton and Mommy went berey picking today!  We counted and found 12 blackberries, 102 red raspberries, and 61 blueberries right in our own backyard!!  We were going to make jam, but Colton told me he better eat 'em all because he's really hungry.  :)

Then I convinced Colton to make smoothies!  Yummmm!!!

It's a good thing Jesus loves the little children...

Today in church Colton had to go to the bathroom, so Daddy started to take him out the center aisle, but Colton realized and loudly told everyone MY SHOE'S UNTIED!  He wouldn't budge until Daddy tied it for him.  Later Colton needed Daddy to come with him to children's moments, then he said loudly, NOW I get to go downstairs!!! (after children's moments was finished).  When Daddy syarted to take him, Colton proclaimed, no you sit down, Daddy.  Nonna can take me!!  What a ham!

Camping!!

Tonight Colton and Daddy are trying out the new tent for Colton's first ever Camping Adventure at the Lake House, and Mommy is working with sweet Maddox in hopes that he will sleep in his crib for the first night ever!  :)  Hopefully BOTH will be successful!
