Sticker MAN!

Colton found a book about tractors with stickers in it and he was putting it all over Daddy's shirt.  He said, "I love stickers, and I want to put them on your arm all over.  It looks like you're a STICKER MAN!"

Maddox is HUNGRY!

Maddox my Glenn went to visit Dr. Beney for his six month visit and he did a great job.  Three shots! Dr. Beney said he would be taller than his brother.  He also said that Maddox can definitely start eating food!

So Mommy, Daddy, and Colton had pizza and Maddox had his FIRST BABY CEREAL!  He loved it, especially the spoon.  He would reach for the spoon and then jam it in his mouth.  If the spoon was taken away to refill, Maddox cried.  Momma thought she made too much food, but Maddox ate it all up!

Big Boy Food

Maddox is 7 months old.

He loves eating food from his mesh feeder. Favorites include: musk melon, nectarines, watermelon, bananas. He eats oatmeal, rice cereal, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, green beans, butternut squash, carrots, peaches. He got a rash on his arms and chest from eating peas, so those are out for a few more months!

God is Silly????

Grampa and Colton were riding the John Deere around the yard – Grampa showed Colton the flowering cherry tree.    Colton called Nonna over to see the flowers in the tree  “How did they get here, Nonna?”   I told him that God put them there.     “Silly God” was Colton’s reply.    Ha ha ha ha ha…….   Simple thoughts from such innocence.
Love our boy!

more from NONNA

I went to pick up Colton after being at Grampa and Nonna's all day.  Nonna took the day off so that was FUN!

HE says:
“This tractor’s stuck”    Pug (the duck) and Nemo can help, Nonna.

Then I made him smell the Hyacinth and asked him how they smell, he says, "They smell Invasive!"
The Hyacinth has now been renamed to “Invasive”    WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhh

Nonna's Email

Colton is a blast.   I would be singing Bobby Shafty while doing my hair (he was in “his” room) and I’d stop, then he’d finish the next line---- holding the last note ----- waaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I switched to Kukkaberra and he’d sing that one too….. ha ha ha ha.

And now I’m wearing 4 of his stickers on my shirt for everyone to admire.   Woop woop !!!
He told Grampa that today they could ride on the John Deere cuz last time they rode the four wheeler.   WAHHHH !!    What a cutey.    And and……….. I started singing “Toaster Strudel buddies”   and Dad sang “Pop Tart Nonna”   And Colton laughed and started singing that too.   WAHHHHHHHHH    back and forth on and on…….

A few from Mimi

Just before a nap, Mimi offered Colton a choice.  You can watch a little more tv or read a book.  Colton replied, "I'd like both!"  Mimi stood her ground, "One or the other."  Being three and not quite understanding the context surrounding this statement, he returns, "I have The Other!"  Meaning he wanted both. :)

At the library Colton and Mimi are looking for books, and Colton says "That girl has my truck book."  Later he says, "I want a John deere book.  That lady has my John Deere book."

Colto grabs his phone (pretend phone) and says, "I'm calling Joe and Amber."  He starts talking away about things ad Mimi hears him ask if they would go somewhere.  He hangs up the phone and shots, "They said they'd GO!"

Colton?

Colton are you a doctor? - Momma

Yea, I'm a doctor all right! - Colton

This was after we found him climbing up his closet racks to the TOP of the closet to get things down to play with.  YIKES!  Oh, the big oak tree fell down in the front and Colton loves to check that out.

Maddox has chubby FAT knees and is ready to GROW!  Any second he will be three inches longer.
