Sweet boy.

I got home from "work" late, playing golf at Turning stone for ISRI.   It was the second night in a row that I only was able to read Colton a book and say goodnight as the night before I was welding the mower deck and catching up on the lawn.

I walk into his room and he is overwhelmed eight joy to see me.  First the question, "Daddy?" Then came one of the sweetest moments of being a father so far.  "I missed you so much daddy, where have you been?" And he started crying.  I hugged him and cried and smiled and loved my boy through and through.

Did you eat that?

Momma hears Colton say, "oh wow chocolate!" from the other room.  After asking what he is doing he says, oh nothing.  Momma walks out to find chocolate ice cream out and ice cream all over his face!  He insisted, no I did not eat any and I don't know how the ice cream got out.  He said, "I think it jumped out of the freezer."  Momma had to take Mr Colton into the bathroom mirror to show Jim his face and then, "oh I guess I did eat a little bit..."

Sticker MAN!

Colton found a book about tractors with stickers in it and he was putting it all over Daddy's shirt.  He said, "I love stickers, and I want to put them on your arm all over.  It looks like you're a STICKER MAN!"

Maddox is HUNGRY!

Maddox my Glenn went to visit Dr. Beney for his six month visit and he did a great job.  Three shots! Dr. Beney said he would be taller than his brother.  He also said that Maddox can definitely start eating food!

So Mommy, Daddy, and Colton had pizza and Maddox had his FIRST BABY CEREAL!  He loved it, especially the spoon.  He would reach for the spoon and then jam it in his mouth.  If the spoon was taken away to refill, Maddox cried.  Momma thought she made too much food, but Maddox ate it all up!

Big Boy Food

Maddox is 7 months old.

He loves eating food from his mesh feeder. Favorites include: musk melon, nectarines, watermelon, bananas. He eats oatmeal, rice cereal, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, green beans, butternut squash, carrots, peaches. He got a rash on his arms and chest from eating peas, so those are out for a few more months!

God is Silly????

Grampa and Colton were riding the John Deere around the yard – Grampa showed Colton the flowering cherry tree.    Colton called Nonna over to see the flowers in the tree  “How did they get here, Nonna?”   I told him that God put them there.     “Silly God” was Colton’s reply.    Ha ha ha ha ha…….   Simple thoughts from such innocence.
Love our boy!

more from NONNA

I went to pick up Colton after being at Grampa and Nonna's all day.  Nonna took the day off so that was FUN!

HE says:
“This tractor’s stuck”    Pug (the duck) and Nemo can help, Nonna.

Then I made him smell the Hyacinth and asked him how they smell, he says, "They smell Invasive!"
The Hyacinth has now been renamed to “Invasive”    WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhh
